Betty Anne Eberling - Sales
Associate
With four generations of family
and being a local entrepreneur of twenty-five years, her
knowledge and expertise in
Tuxedo and the surrounding communities is an asset for anyone looking
for a home in Tuxedo Park. Her public contributions are extensive.
She has a background in local
government, elected the first woman on the town board and congressional
chosen for "Woman Leadership Forums". She was first woman Police
Commissioner , an auxiliary member of the Tuxedo Fire Department and is
a trustee in the Tuxedo Volunteer Ambulance Corp.
In respecting the importance of our
local history, was a founding trustee of the Tuxedo Historical Society.
She is past president of the Chamber of Commerce, and has had
association with many committees within the local school, churches and
youth programs.
John C. Straton, Jr. -
Sales Associate
John has been a licensed real estate
salesperson since1956.He is an investment banker; and has been an
officer and general partner in various Wall Street firms – most
recently Citigroup Smith Barney since 1997.
He has been a resident of Tuxedo Park
since 1957, and was the Village Assessor from 1963 to 1970. John has
been a vestryman at St. Mary’s-in-Tuxedo Episcopal Church. He received
his B.A. from the University of Virginia in 1954, and was president and
treasurer of the alumni association from 1973 through 1990.
John served in the military as a
Major in the U.S. Army from 1954-56. (ret.), and is currently a member
of the Military Order of Foreign Wars (commander 1981-86, treasurer in
1986), Pilgrims of U.S., and Sigma Phi Epsilon.
